"We All Live In The Fantastic Kingdom...
And Few See The Magic" -Jody Bergsma
Part of My Story
When I was a small child, I was fascinated by the moon. My father, who loved astronomy, would walk with me outside at night and would show me all the constellations. Even now, we still enjoy this pastime. In addition to the moon, I absolutely loved magical things, reading books about unicorns, fairies and wanting to dress up as a witch for Halloween. I loved to draw, and going through a box of my old drawings recently, I found a picture I made when I was 4 or 5 of me as witch flying over my house.

Growing up in the South, its very common to be brought up within a system of beliefs. This was the case with me. Without going into too much detail, it took me decades to realize the effect this indoctrination had and still has on my life. By the time I was in elementary school, I realized that I had to hide and push away those childhood fascinations with the magical world. When middle school rolled around, this belief system, made me feel shame about my, thoughts, desires and even my own body. Years of this indoctrination led to a lot of trauma. A couple years ago my best friend introduced me to her wellness coach, Dennis (I've included a link to his website below). I met with him, and during that first meeting, I felt better than I had in a very long time. We began having regular coaching sessions and he introduced me to Reconnective Healing® (RH). This work changed my life! It did in a short time what traditional therapy could not. I finally was able to break free from the chains of the past. Mind you, this is an ongoing process, and not always easy, but worth every second. Now I want to share this healing with others as a certified Reconnective Healing® facilitator.

Over these years of releasing the past I have felt more comfortable re-exploring those childhood fascinations with the moon and magical things. I've become quite good with what I call Enchanted Workings. It is my passion and I'd love to share it with those who want to explore with me. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Please reach out, I would love to connect!
